Webinar: an overview of the daily practices of the Estonian national research funding system

19. november 2020

In Estonia, national research funding is organised mainly by the Estonian Research Council. A certain set of rules and  one main research funding organisation in Estonia makes the system simple and easily manageable. Estonia started building  its research funding system in 1990 when the Estonian Science  Foundation (ESF) was established. In 2012, the Estonian Research Council (ETAG) took over the functions of ESF and it also brought other activities that support research under one umbrella. All the activities related to national research funding are managed by the Estonian Research Information System (ETIS).

The webinar will give an overview of the daily practices of the Estonian national research funding system, including an introduction to ETIS.
