The 2022 ERA-NET SusCrop Call on Agrobiodiversity is now OPEN

The 2022 ERA-NET SusCrop call on the topic of Agroecology is now open.

Research project proposals should aadress one of the following subtopics:

  • Agricultural genetic Resources
  • Agricultural practices and farm models
  • Agrobiodiversity and territorial systems

Consortia must include at least three eligible partners requesting funding from at least three different CSC member countries who contribute funds to the Call.

ETAG funds both basic and applied science projects. All partners must meet the requirements of their national funding organization.

Private-for-Profit institutions should contact the ETAG national contact point prior submitting the application: Katrin Saar (katrin.saar@etag.ee).

The Estonian partners are funded by the Estonian Research Council (ETAG) and the Ministry of Rural Affairs (MeM) with a total of 200,000 euros. The amount per Estonian project is up to 100,000 euros.

 The call is conducted as two-step-procedure:

The deadline for pre-registration of proposals is 4 May at 12:00 CEST.

The deadline for proposal submission is 22 June at 12:00 CEST.

Pre-registration is mandatory and the proposal cannot be submitted without it. Correctly pre-registered applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by the secretariat. It is recommended to contact the national contact point before submitting the application.

On 10-12 May ERA-NET SusCrop will organise a conference on  research and innovation in sustainable crop production & workshop on enhancement and optimization of innovation. The seminar takes place at Aarhus University, Denmark. The main purpose of the seminar is to facilitate dialogues between researchers, research users, stakeholders and other partners.  The conference can be attended in person in Denmark or watched online.
