On 16 November at 11 am (EET) Estonian Research Council and the COST Association and the will jointly organise a virtual info day. The info day will be dedicated to Estonian applicants and participants. Concurrently it will mark the 50th anniversary of COST Association.

COST, or European Cooperation in Science and Technology, is Europe’s oldest intergovernmental cooperation in the field. With the support of the Horizon Programme and the member countries, COST helps to bring together researchers and practitioners from many countries and from all fields of research and technology.

On 16 November you will get an insight into the nature and functioning of COST actions, how to join them, how to prepare a successful application, which activities are funded. Representatives of the COST Association will introduce COST Actions functioning and rules which will slightly change from November 2021. COST Action Chairs will share their experiences. We will also take the chance to celebrate COST Association´s 50th anniversary as well as talk about the history of COST in Estonia. Estonia has been COST Member for 24 years.

Please note that the first part of the day will take place in English and the second part in Estonian.
