A call for proposals for funding of Nordic collaboration projects on health data research on COVID-19 is now announced

A call for proposals for funding of Nordic and Nordic-Estonian/Latvian collaboration projects on health data research on COVID-19 is now announced. The application deadline is 16 June 2020 14h00.

The aim of the call is to generate new knowledge that can help in combating the COVID-19 pandemic by utilising existing health data and follow-up data collection through Nordic and Nordic-Estonian/Latvian research cooperation. The total funding available under the call is approximately 5 million euros (NOK 57 million).  The Estonian Research Council will be able to support the participation of the Estonian partners in the programme with a total of 400,000 euros. The national funding criteria can be found here.

The call “Nordic Health Data Research Projects on COVID-19” is a collaborative effort between the Swedish Research Council, Academy of Finland, Innovation Fund Denmark, Research Council of Norway, Icelandic Centre for Research (RANNÍS), Estonian Research Council, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia, and NordForsk.
