Why talk about excellence, in the first place? How to define scientific excellence – isn’t it self-evident? Is excellence possible in a small country? How to recognize the seeds of excellence and nurture them into being? How to maintain excellence? Is excellence measurable?
The conference aims to tackle multiple facets of excellence in research, assembling speakers and discussants of different back-ground, experiences, countries.
